Dye job...

Spent some time yesterday dying paper doilies with food dye.
I thought they would be nice as decoration for my daughters afternoon
tea tomorrow for her 21st with friends.
If you've never dyed paper doilies before, it took some technique learning.
Being paper, they will fall apart when placed into water.
Of course!
Have to work very quick and put them out to dry.
I did this on the table outside, covered in old towels, in the sun.
Once you have the technique happening, you can always dye them
a second time when they are dry.
This way, you achieve a deeper colour shade.
