Verona...

The main square in Verona.
I have been here on market days, when the place is full of sellers and buyers
of wonderful food, that looks and smells divine.

I love finding these religious offerings in the most unexpected little nook.

Found a great little wine bar that was very cool, whick is what I needed at the time.
The guys working in there had character by the bucket load!
All the talk was about the Italy/Spain soccer game scheduled for tonight.
**too bad Italy for the loss**

Rome has the Colosseum, Verona has the Arena.
A smaller version which is still used today, mostly for opera performances.
How fantastic would that be!
