So, on the bus, we drive for what seems like forever on a road that shakes our spines and teeth out of all shape... |
It had been raining recently, so the roads are very muddy and very slow going through lotsa pot holes... |
When we did get onto well made roads, we had very tight curves around the mountain and some inclines that made us want to lean forward to help the bus travel up easier... |
Pot holes? Of course. Piles of mulch left in the middle of the road? Of course... |
People who live here just taking a walk down the road... |
I did not know bananas came in red, did you? |
We really have to drive over this bridge????? |
Long walk up people! |
Women all over the world sweeping and trying to keep a clean home... |
To climb to the top of this temple, we needed to take our shoes off... |
These children would take them and look after them for us, all lined up neatly in rows... |
Climbing up with smiles on... |
Huge carved Buddha... |
Kaylene was looking very contemplative to me... |
Time to climb back down... |
To the shoe guardians... |
I think I mentioned something about the green Susan was wearing and the mould on the rock which is why she was laughing... |
Her laugh makes me laugh... |
We couldn't really see the famous sculptures in the water as it was very high due to recent rain... |
Naomi was surrounded by children as she came out of the trees. She reminded me of the Pied Piper... |
Very comfy chair, lots a decoration on it... |
Cannot remember what was being said, and what was so funny at the time... |
Denise in nana mode... |
Most of us were looking forward to the hot air balloon ride but we got there and it wasn't flying. This stuff happens when you travel... |
