Let's cook!

All paying attention to chef...

Cooking stations all set up...

Chef demonstrating, large mirror above him makes it easy to see...

Our turn...

Savoury Hoi An pancake...

Wrapping the pancake in rice paper wrapper with herbs...

A good chef always washes their hands, and we had such
a pretty water fountain here...

Demonstrating how to prepare different vegetables for next dish...

Prepared mango and chicken salad into hollowed out pineapple...

Helpers setting up pots for next recipe...

Pot of boiling water, muslin/cotton stretched over top...

Pouring prepared rice batter...

Spread it out...

Lid on...

It's cooked!
Only takes couple of minutes...

Special stick thing to remove it...

Adding greens and herbs, and vegetable that we cut up.
Along with cooked prawns...

Wrap it...

Present beautifully and serve with delish sauce...

Waiting patiently to be cooked...

With trepidation, let's lift it...

You go Irena!

Tastes good?

Clay pot cooked eggplant...

Learning how to cut vegetables into decorative shapes...

Beautiful...

All done and delish...

Concentrate Paul, concentrate...

Stirring...

Good job John!

"I think I'm better with paper!"...

Ta Da!!!

"Here's one I prepared earlier!"
(I was busy taking pics, so I get to eat the chefs)
(hee hee)

Eating lunch at the restaurant there...

Everyone got to eat the eggplant that they each prepared...

Obligatory Red Bridge pic...

Definitely a must do if you visit Hoi An...
